Raindrops are falling down my head...

This is how my sunday looked like yesterday: another walk through the colorful forest of Halle. The trees had the most beautiful colors of autumn and even the mushrooms were already present! Sunday is for me the only day I can really relax and enjoy the things I love. I can finally charge up again for a new week to come. Sunday means for me quality time with the family and my boyfriend. Those days always start with staying in bed much too long and talking about what happened the past days. Then we start with an extensive brunch and reading the newspaper. If it's not too late I take a warm bath to relax completely and afterwards I like to spend a whole day in my jogging! In the afternoon we always do are sunday walk with the dog (as you can see in the pictures) and in the evening the whole family comes together at our grandparents to eat something and chat.
I think now you understand why I love those sundays so much! ;)

Have a good beginning of the week everybody and get yourself ready for a horrible halloween tommorow...

Forties Inspirations: Frida Gustavsson for Elle Sweden

Frida Gustavsson stars in a story of forties fashion for the November issue of Elle Sweden lensed by Andreas Öhlund. Wearing the pristine frocks of Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs and others styled by fashion editor Linda Lindqwister, Frida spends a day of carefree exploration with retro curls by Erika Svedjevik and autumn makeup by Katarina Håkansson.

One of the lovely bloggers from Honestly...WTF made a little post about the DIY for a peter pan collar just like the Miu Miu one used in this editorial. Click here to find the DIY tutorial for the collar and have lots of fun making your own!!

Ma Muse de Mode: Nicole Richie

Hi everybody! Today I'm starting with a new kind of post that I want to insert on a weekly/monthly basis. This posts have a lot in common with the title of my blog: Ma Muse de Mode. This means literally: my fashion muse (= a source of inspiration). So every week or month - (not yet decided what it will be...) - I will be writing about the style of a person or celebrity who inspires me a lot.

The first fashion muse to begin these posts with, is my ultimate inspiration: Nicole Richie. She has such a signature style that I like very much. Not just because her style evolved tremendously over the years by the things she has experienced (anorexia, bad friends, pregnancy, ...), but also because she always gives a unique and personal touch to her looks. Some terms that perfectly describe her style are: rebellious, feminine, bohemien, hippy, layered, accessoires, large sunglasses and chic.
Here are some pictures of her style:

Nicole Richie also created her own label of clothes Winter Kate and her own label of accessoires House of Harlow 1960 wich you can buy on You can follow Nicole Richie on her website

How wonderful the morning looked...

Every morning I leave the dog out for a walk and this morning it looked like this: the sun shone a warm glow about us, colorful leaves were falling from the trees and the birds were singing their best song. On a morning like this I enjoy life even more than other days. I just had to share this beauty with you! I hope you enjoy it as hard as I did.
Have a happy end of the week this evening.

Welcome to the Jet Age!

Welcome to Pan Am.
The ABC's new series that delves into the private lives of the fictitious pilots and stewardesses with the Cold War as a back drop.

Let's be honest: when you see the poster of this lovely series, you immediatly want to see the rest of it, isn't it?! Well, that's how I felt about it! Those beautiful blue crisp uniforms, the matching blue 'Pan Am' bag, the perfect cut of the stewardesses' hair and their elegant, feminine walk through the airplane. I wish I was one of them...

Currently this series is not yet shown on Belgian TV, but I hope they don't wait too long with it! I'm looking forward to the day I can stretch out in the sofa with a soft blanket and a cup of hot tea while playing all episodes in a row. After I obviously all have seen them on television yet, but that's just a little detail! And I know I can actually watch the episodes on my computer through the many fake versions online, but I'm opposed to such things as I hate it to concentrate me on what they are saying  (I hear bad and there are no subtitles) instead of what's happening.
But that's just me being difficult and having too many principles... ;)
